Derrick Trumbly is new to the film world. He graduated with a B.A. in Theatre ‘05 (acting emphasis) from Columbia College Chicago. He is a co-founder of Blue Moon Studio Theater (www.bluemoonstudiotheater.com) with Leah Morrow, Eric Martin, and Harmony France. Theater Credits include: Columbia: Marius – Les Miserables, Able – Miracle, Carl – Self Torture and Strenuous Exercise, Macheath – The Three Penny Opera, The Baker – Into the Woods. Other Chicago credits include: Xander – Wild Goat (with Mark Hollman and Sheldon Patinkin), Shannon/Tom Link – Lewis and Clark (with Arthur Kopit), Dominique – The Baker’s Wife, Matt/the boy – The Fantastick’s, The Frog Prince – The Frog Prince. Derrick is currently playing the role of Leaf Coneybear in Broadway in Chicago’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Drury Lane Water Tower Place.ELANTRAFILMS.COM
